<p>PURPOSE:To make a walker realize the vehicle width and to prevent an accident due to contact by forming an opening portion on the car body front side of a mirror case for a door mirror, providing a light transmitting portion for a light emitting element in the case and lighting the light emitting element when a head light is lighted at night. CONSTITUTION:A door mirror 5 is fitted to a mounting bracket 3 at a corner portion 2a of a window 2 disposed in the upper portion of a front door 1 through an arm portion 4. An opening portion is formed in the center of a car body front side portion 6a of a mirror case 6, and a character plate 7 made by transparent resin or translucent resin, where characters 8 are formed is mounted thereon. A light emitting element such as an electroluminescence or the like is disposed at the back of the character plate 7 in the mirror case 6. When a head light is lighted at night, the light emitting element in the mirror case is also lighted, whereby a walker and a driver of a car running in the opposite direction can be made realize the actual vehicle width to prevent an accident due to contact.</p> |
