<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the parallax at the edges of a screen by setting an optical coupling means containing plural light emitting and receiving elements to a square video display screen which is cylindrically bent. CONSTITUTION:A CRT 10 contains a square video display screen which is cylindrically bent. The light emitting diodes 13 serving as the light emitting elements and the phototransistors 14 serving as the light receiving elements are arrayed in plural pairs to said video display screen in terms of the optical coupling connection so that the light beams cross obliquely the display screen. In this case, the envelope surface formed by the light beams is set in parallel to the display screen of the CRT 10. As a result, the parallax is reduced at the edges of the screen.</p> |
