<p>PURPOSE:To form a very complex pattern on a plated part by printing a complex pattern on the part of metal or plastic tableware to be plated with ink, plating the part by electroplating or chemical plating and removing the printed pattern. CONSTITUTION:When a body 10 such as tableware made of a metal such as stainless steel or plastics is partially plated, a flower, bird or other complex pattern 11 is printed on the part 12 to be plated with ink proof against a plating soln. A plating film is formed on the part 12 by electroplating or chemical plating and then the printed pattern 11 is dissolved and removed with thinner, etc. A complex pattern 13 can easily be formed on the plated part 12 owing to the exposed base.</p> |
