PURPOSE:To improve an effect of preventing wind-up vibration by pivoting both ends of a torque rod for generating regulating force in only one direction of compression or tension on a car body and an axle housing or an elastic support member, respectively in the longitudinal direction of the car body in an axle type suspension device. CONSTITUTION:The forward end of a torque rod 20 is pivoted on a cross member 2 through a bracket 21, and the rear end thereof is pivoted on an axle housing 3 through a lateral rod fixing bracket 11. Each of rubber bushes 22 on both ends of the torque rod 20 has a theft 27 formed on the outside portion in the axial direction of the torque rod from the center of a rubber 25, whereby the rubber hardness of the inside portion 25a in the axial direction is higher than that of the other portion so as to generate regulating force only in one direction of compression or tension. By this arrangement, wind-up vibration can be effectively prevented. |
