PURPOSE:To reduce the difference of load variation caused by sliding and separating a photosensitive drum on and from a cleaning member, to remove the extension and contraction of an image and to improve the resist performance of superposing images by providing a means for always adding a certain rotation load to the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:In case of forming the color image, the cleaning blade 47 which slides on the surface of the photosensitive drum in the initial period of the first rotation of the drum 40 separates from it in the latter half and they are separate in case of second rotation, then the load variation is caused on the photosensitive drum 40 since the blade 47 slides on the drum 40 in the latter half in case of third rotation. Since a certain rotation load is always added to the photosensitive drum 40, the difference of the load variation of the photosensitive drum 40 caused by the sliding and separating of the cleaning blade 47 becomes extremely small. Namely, the means 407 for always adding a certain rotation load to the photosensitive drum 40 firmly fixes a disk 408 to the rotating shaft 40' of the drum and press-bonds a brake plate 409 to the disk 408 by the force of restitution of a spring 410. |
