PURPOSE:To reduce energy consumption due to engine output for operating an oil pressure pump with high power by intensifying the output of hydraulic cylinders by means of a deformation telescopic mechanism so as to steer rear wheels with this power. CONSTITUTION:When a switching valve 10 is subjected to changeover in response to a front wheel steering and pressure oil fed from an oil pressure pump 9 is supplied to hydraulic cylinders 8, one side hydraulic cylinder 8 supplied with pressure oil contracts and deforms a telescopic mechanism 7 and the other side hydraulic cylinder 8 is communicated to an oil tank. Then, the telescopic mechanism 7 holds its extended state by the force of a spring 8. Consequently, an axle 2 turns its side where the telescopic mechanism is contracted and deformed toward the front of a vehicle around the center of turn, that is, central point 3 pivoted on a vehicle frame, so that the axle 2 can be steered in the same phase as that of the front wheels. |
