The method for mfg. a long hinge includes 1st process punching a slit (tc) on a thin steel strip (CP) as well as intermittently moving the strip by predetermined distance, 2nd process forming the hinge pieces (hp,hp') by opening the pieces in the zigzag type, 3rd process bending the hinge pieces and forming the rounding part (r,4'), 4th process bending the hinge pipes vertically, 5th process forming the semicircular rounds (ro,ro'), 6th process forming the hinge pin holes (hc,hc'), and 7th process accomplishing the long hinge.
