Glyceride is refined by adding nonpolar solvent (i.e. ether, ethylacetate) 10-20 wt. parts, polar solvent (i.e. MeOH, EtOH) 20-30 wt. parts, sodium sulfate 3-8 wt. parts and active carbon 0.2-0.5 parts to the rxn. prod. 10 wt. parts (obtd. by esterifying beef tallow with glycerol) for removing phosphates and residual glycerol.
