PURPOSE:To manufacture crank-like parts from a rod material by cold pressing, by constituting so that a die which is always opposed to a pressing member by a resetting means moves diagonally when the rod material is inserted to its inserting hole and is pressed. CONSTITUTION:When manufacturing product E from a rod material, the rod material is pressed in the axial direction in a die, and is formed to a rod material C. It is pressed by a spring 93 and is inserted into an inserting hole 71 which is opened on the front opposed to a punch 8 and extends in the axial direction of a die 7 located in the lower part in the figure. The die 7 is contained in a die 9 consisting of front and rear parts 91, 92. When a sliding piece 72 moves back until it is stopped by a knockout 101 by insertion of the rod material C, pressure of the punch 8 is applied to the rod material C and it is pressed and formed to the shape of the hole 71. In this case, the pressure of the punch 8 is applied to the die 7 through the rod material C and the sliding piece 72, the die 7 is guided by a guiding inclined face 922 with which its inclined face 73 contacts, and the die 7 advances diagonally in the direction crossing the axis against the spring 93. In this way, the rod material C is bent by a position difference generated between the punch 8 and the die 7, between them. |
