<p>PURPOSE:To avoid damaging a magnetic tape by inhibiting the action of a magnetic recording and reproducing device only for a suitable time in accordance with the dew condensation condition of a tape running system structure body such as a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The output of a dew condensation sensor 1 is compared with a dew condensation deciding reference value by a comparator 2, when it is over the reference value, it is decided that it is dew condensation the decision output is inverted by an inverter 3 and the inversion output is compared with a voltage set by resistances 11 and 12 by a comparator 5. The comparison output is given to a control device 6 and the action of the magnetic recording and reproducing device is inhibited. Thus, the time difference between the dew condensation condition of the tape running system and the output of the dew condensation sensor is eliminated, the action of magnetic recording and reproducing device or the inhibition time of operations by the dew condensation is minimized, the dew condensation condition is surely discriminated and therefore, the damage of the magnetic tape can be prevented.</p> |
