PURPOSE:To form a smooth V member at the peripheral edge of frame of spectacles by providing a means for converting measurement values depending on the displacement of a displacement detection unit into a real mold radius from the rotational angle values before and after the measurement values through the rotation of a lens rotating shaft at every specified angels and response with the angles. CONSTITUTION:While lens rotating shafts 51, 52 which retain a lens 50 of spectacles and mold 1 are rotated at every specified angles, in response to the angles of the shafts 51, 52, measurement values depending on displacement of the shafts 51, 52 in the radii directions detected by mean of a displacement measuring unit 45 is stored in a memory means 18. The values stored are respectively converted into a real mold radius by means of a conversion means from the measurement values of the rotational angles before and after them. With the mold radius obtained in this way, a lens of spectacles can be accurately displaced in lateral movement, and also, it can be displaced in the axial direction based on displacement of a displacement measuring unit 45. It is thus possible to form a V member smoothly at the peripheral edge of frame of spectacles. |
