Valve for an air conduit simultaneously used with a water conduit

A valve for an air conduit (21) which is simultaneously used with a water conduit (6, 6', 57) and can be released by the pressure in the water conduit (6'), has the following construction: A closing element (22), which, in the closed condition, is pressed onto an annular valve seat (24) and, in the open condition, is flowed around by the air, is arranged on a hollow holding and moving body (27) through which the air flows in the open condition. By virtue of a step, this body forms a piston (35) in the valve housing (1, 2), which is likewise stepped (30). On the side facing the closing element (22), the piston delimits an annular cylinder space (33) connected to the water conduit (6, 6', 57) and, on the other side, is acted upon by the air pressure and also by a compression spring (9). The valve is favourable in terms of flow and can therefore be of small construction and be integrated into a plate or a block of solid material. This makes it easier to combine with complementary valve arrangements (4 and 3) which shut off the water conduit even if the air pressure or back pressure fails due to faults. <IMAGE>
