A motor vehicle with engageable four-wheel drive is described, in which a planetary gearing (30), simultaneously serving as clutch, is provided in the drive train between a permanently driven axle (14) and an additionally engageable axle (20). The planetary gearing (30) has a pivotably mounted, lockable ring gear (44) for engagement of the four-wheel drive.
