PURPOSE:To improve face accuracy of an object to the ground and to extend the service life of a grinding pad by forming a plurality of meshed pores of a special size on the surface grinding part of the pad made of polyuretane. CONSTITUTION:A rotary grinding pad 2 is formed of polyuretane, and a lot of pores (air holes) 12a are provided in a mesh form on the surface grinding part thereon. The average diameters of these air holes 12a is made to be 80mum-300mum or so. As a result, the pad 12 has proper hardness, direct friction between the pad 12 and an object to be ground 15 is reduced, and effective grinding particles are retained, at the same time, it is possible to supply and discharge the particles smoothly, and to grind the surface of the object with high accuracy. |
