A device for holding bodies, which are essentially elliptical in cross-section, during printing by a screen printing machine comprises a rotatable shaft (10), a frame (56) which can be rotated with the shaft, a linear guide (78) provided on the frame, and a holder (90) which is displaceable on the linear guide for clamping a body to be printed. The frame is mounted rotatably in a housing (36) which is fixed to the frame. The axis of the shaft (10) is radially adjustable in relation to the housing (36).
