In a constant pressure system a magnetically operated pilot valve (4) for operating a control valve for a consuming device (13); a piston (2) arranged in a casing (1) is lifted off a seating (35) against the force of a spring (3) by the circulating pressure and moved against a stop when the valve (4) is actuated. The end of the piston (2) remote from the seating (35) is connected by a passage (40) to a bore (24) of a slider (17). The slider (17) can be displaced against the force of a spring (21) by oil pressure acting on its shank (19) on actuation of the valve (4), the shank extending into a consuming device line (14) and being provided with a blockable bore extending right through it. The passage (40) can be connected to a tank connection (23) or, via a passage (15), to a pressure medium generator (34) by means of stem- actuated valves (25 and 29), depending on the position of the slider (17) when the valve (4) is operated. A passage (10) leads from the pressure medium generator (24) to the valve (4) and contains a non- return valve (11). <IMAGE>
