The invention relates to novel rotating mirror systems having reduced total constructional height for measuring the luminous flux and the light intensity distribution of lamps and luminaires. The small constructional height in the rotating mirror system having synchronously rotating light sensors is achieved by rotation of the centre point of the mirror at a distance h from the main axis of rotation A-A' and, in the lifting and rotating mirror, by means of varying the stroke height H.
