Charging generator

A charging generator is described having a rectifier (35) within a housing and having an output connection which is connected to the rectifier and projects radially with respect to a shaft (3). A connection screw (32) is provided having a threaded section (32a) which forms the output connection, a mounting arm region (32b) is provided which is constructed integrally with the threaded section, and a mounting hole (32c) is provided which is arranged in the mounting arm region and whose centre axis extends parallel to the axis of the threaded section. Furthermore, a base (33) (which is constructed integrally with the connecting screw) of the output connection is provided, made of an insulating resin material which covers the mounting arm region. An opening (39) which is formed in the housing is located opposite the rectifier and is used for accommodating the base of the output connection. The connecting screw, together with the base of the output connection, is connected to the rectifier by means of a screw (37) which is passed through the mounting hole in the connecting screw. Accordingly, it is possible to assemble, dismantle and assemble once again the bushing region of the output connection after installation of the generator body, and it is also possible to achieve high strength, to create firm and reliable electrical connections, and to reduce the overall size and the production costs. <IMAGE>
