PURPOSE:To improve the working ratio and the reliability of a fault processing system by deciding the writing block of a cache buffer in accordance with the address signal applied to a main memory when a cache buffer history device (replacement array) has a fault. CONSTITUTION:When a replacement array data part 1 has a fault, the output signal of a replacing row deciding circuit 5 which decides the rewriting block of a cache buffer is switched to an address signal applied to a main memory by a replacement information selector 8 based on the replacement information received from the part 1. Thus it is possible to process the fault of a replacement array having no relation with the malfunction of a system without stopping the system working. As a result, the working ratio and the reliability are improved in a fault processing system. |
