<p>PURPOSE:To make the transmission of power between guides efficient and reduce the abrasion of sliding portions in a device in which sheets of paper are laminated on the tray of a copying machine, etc., with the front end edges thereof being arranged by linking guides to each other by means of a mechanism which converts a linear motion to rotation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of setting sheets of paper of a regular-form size, right and left guides 48, 50 and back guide 52 are slided to form a space slightly larger than the sheets of paper and the sheets of paper are set in the center portion of the guides 48, 50, 52 and, as one of the guides 48, 50, 52 is moved toward the sheets of paper, the other two guides are also slided to set the sheets of paper in a proper position. That is, the guides 48, 50, 52 are interlockedly moved due to the combination of racks 56, 58, pinions 54, 60, pulleys 62, 64, and a wire 66. At the time of setting sheets of paper of an irregular-form other than the regular-form sizes of A or B series, etc., the interlocking between the back guide 52 and the right/left guides 48, 50 is released by a clutch means.</p> |
