Liquid sodium aerosol filters - for sodium cooled nuclear power stations
摘要

Continuous removal of liquid metal from a stream of gas esp for the sepn of finely divided and dissolved sodium, from the protective gas in a sodium-cooled nuclear power station, by first heating the metal-contg gas above the satn. temp. and subsequently cooling without allowing the temp. to reach the metal freezing point. Spec. the heating and/or cooling is carried out in a filter which is a good heat conductor, in which the pore size decreases in the direction of flow. Cooling is pref. achieved by admixture of cold protective gas.
