PURPOSE:To remove a virus in the blood of a viral disease patient and to expect a life prolonging effect by separating a blood to a blood corpuscle and a blood plasma with a primary film and removing the virus in the separated blood plasma with a secondary film. CONSTITUTION:The blood is filtered with a porous hollow fiber in which a blood flows at a inter-film differential pressure 100mm Hg or below at the hollow internal part of a porous hollow fiber in which an average hole diameter due to a water filtering speed method is 0.2-0.5mum and the permeability of protein is 95% or above, the blood plasma is separated from the blood, the separated blood plasma is filtered through the regenerated cellulose porous hollow fiber having the average hole diameter due to the water filtering speed method is 0.1mum or below and 0.5 times or above 1.0 times or below of the virus diameter, a minimum average hole diameter is 0.04-0.20mum, a minimum in-place empty hole ratio (Pre) is 0.1-0.5 and the permeability of the protein having the layer-shaped construction having the layer of 10 layers or above in a film thickness direction is 85% or above.
