<p>PURPOSE:To realize the layouting of a motor to the optimum position and to form a device compactly by displacing a cartridge and a take-up reel upward, and arranging the motor and a magnetic head in a deceleration driving device in a space generated as the result of the above displacement. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge 5 and the take-up reel 48 are displaced upward, and the motor 102, the magnetic head 63, and tape guides (61-65) comprising the deceleration driving device are arranged in the space generated as the result of the displacement. Thus, a feed path is constituted of the guides 61 and 62, the head 36, the guides 64 and 65, and a reel 48, and corresponding to the path, a reader block 9 is guided from the aperture part 10 of the cartridge 5 to a recessed part 67 formed on the hub 66 of the reel 48. In such a way, it is possible to obtain a magnetic recording and reproducing device which satisfies shape of 2.5 inch that is an industrial standard.</p> |
