发明名称 STACKER
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a continuous document to be normally stacked, by a method wherein, the remaining amount of the continuous document stacked in a first stacker is detected every predetermined time, and correspondingly to the remaining amount the feed amount of a second feed means is gradually changed. CONSTITUTION:A continuous document 1 printed by a printing part 8 is fed by a first feed means 4 to be stacked in a first stacker 5 once, furthermore being fed by a second feed means 6 to be stacked in a second stacker 7. At this time, the remaining amount of the continuous document 1 stacked in the first stacker 5 is detected every predetermined time, a feed speed corresponding to the remaining amount is determined at every detection, and the second feed means 6 is driven at a gradually variable speed. In this manner, the continuous document 1 fed at an uncountinuous line feed speed by the first feed means 4, e.g., in a high-speed line feed, is fed at a converted feed speed, i.e., an approximately constant and continuous speed, by the second feed means 6. Thus, the continuous document 1 is orderly folded up and stacked in the second stacker 7.
