PURPOSE:To improve wear and heat resistances without fear of breakdown or damage by composing a sliding part, which a rolled steel sheet running on rollers is in contact with and slides on, of sliding members of a graphite crystalized high chrome cast iron. CONSTITUTION:Side guides 3, 3 are installed so that the guides 3, 3 extend in the direction for which rollers 1, 1 are put one by one in parallel to each other to cross the direction and at the upper and both sides of the rollers 1, 1. A sliding part 4b, which a running rolled steel sheet is in contact with and slides on, is composed of sliding members 4, 4 of a graphite crystallized high chrome cast iron having high wear and heat resistances and the members 4, 4 are integrally fixed to holding means 5, 5 to construct the guides 3, 3. Integrally fixing may be done by any proper means and fastening by bolts 6, 6 is convenient for changing the members 4, 4. Therefore, the parts 4b have a long service life and the operation efficiency is improved by reduction of changing frequencies because the members 4, 4 have high seizing and wear resistances at high temps. |
