<p>Control apparatus, particularly exemplified by an aircraft force throttle, responsive to forces exerted thereon by a manual or an automatic operator to rotate a handle (4) rotatably mounted on one end of a control member (2) thereof, for example a throttle lever, to an angular position indicative visually and/or tactilely of a particular demand, for example thrust setting, on associated apparatus, for example a gas-turbine engine to be controlled thereby.
