PURPOSE:To obtain a sintered compact more blackened and free from color shading, by incorporating an organic metal compound of Co or Fe into a starting raw material of silicon nitride based sintered compact. CONSTITUTION:An organic metal compound containing Co and Fe is incorporated into a starting raw material of silicon nitride based sintered compact and the mixture is sintered. As the organic metal compound containing Co or Fe, an alcoholate expressed by the formula X(OR)n or alkyl acetate expressed by the formula X(O2R)n (X is Co or Fe; R is alkyl group) is preferably used. The organic metal compound containing Co or Fe is preferably added at a weight ratio of 0.01-1.0wt.% based on the starting raw material of silicon nitride based sintered compact. |
