PURPOSE:To automatize a paper inserting operation and save energy by rotating a paper roll mounted on the paper-roll mounting means of a paper feeding portion and unwinding a sheet of writing paper in conformity with the speed of a paper inserting belt at the time of inserting the sheet of paper to a rotary press. CONSTITUTION:A rotary press consists of a paper feeding portion S having the mounting means SA of a paper roll NP, a printing portion P, a folding portion F, and a paper course portion RF for connecting each of these portions. A paper inserting belt 1 for introducing the material of the paper roll NP from the paper feeding portion S to the paper course portion RF or the folding portion F and an unwinding means 2 for unwinding the sheet of writing paper W by rotating the paper roll NP mounted on the mounting means SA are provided on the rotary press. The operations of the paper inserting belt 1 and the unwinding means 2 are controlled so as to be mutually relatingly operated. The operations of these are further controlled so as to be relatingly operated with the operation of the rotary press. |
