PURPOSE:To improve the starting performance of engine, by functioning a fuel pump on the basis of the fuel temperature near the fuel injection nozzle after stoppage of engine thereby lowering the fuel temperature near said nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A valve 73 associated with a ball will open/close a fuel exit tube 70 from the relation between the energizing force of a spring 76 and the hydraulic pressure in a fuel sump 68. The fuel temperature in said sump 68 is detected by a fuel temperature sensor 65. Consequently said sensor 65 will detect the fuel temperature near the fuel injection nozzle and provide to I/O 38. Since CPU37 will control the fuel pump 54 in accordance to the engine state during engine operation, the fuel temperature near the fuel injection nozzle will drop to improve the starting performance of engine. |
