PURPOSE:To impart excellent developability and high density to a silver halide color photographic sensitive material and to decrease an increase of fogging by rapid processing by incorporating argyrophil polymer having >=100,000 weight average mol. weight and the repeating structural unit expressed by general formula into said material and further, incorporating a polymer having <=30,000 weight average mol. weight therein. CONSTITUTION:The argyrophil polymer having >=100,000 weight average mol. weight and the repeating structural unit expressed by general formula I are incorporated into the silver halide color photographic sensitive material. Further, the polymer having <=30,000 weight average mol. weight is incorporated therein. In formula, R<1> denotes a hydrogen atom or alkyl group; Z denotes an atom group necessary for forming a lactam ring, oxazolidone ring or pyrrolidone ring with an N atom and C atom. A denotes a mere combination means, -CO-, -COO(CH2)n- or -CONR<2>(CH)n; R<2> denotes a hydrogen atom or alkyl group; (n) denotes integer in the range of 1-6. |
