PURPOSE:To improve the coloring property and the light durability of the sensitive material by incorporating a specified yellow coupler and a specified compd. in at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer contd. in the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material comprises at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer contg. the silver halide particle having >=80mol.% of silver chloride mounted on a supporting body, and the yellow coupler shown by formula I and the compd. shown by formula II are incorporated in at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer. In formula I, R1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl group, R2 is hydrogen or halogen atom or a lower alkoxy group, R3 is acrylamino or carbamoyl group, etc., X is a group capable of being released by a coupling reaction with the oxidant of a color developing main agent. And, in formula II, R4 is alkyl or alkoxy group, J is alkylene group, R5 and R6 are each alkyl group, (n) is an integer of 1-3. Thus, the coloring property of the sensitive material and the light durability of a colored image are improved. |
