Herbicidal compositions comprising aminotriazole (I) and at least one 2-nitro -5- phenoxy benzoic acid of formula (II), optionally in combination with an inert support, are new. Z6 = Cl or CF3 Z5 = H, Cl, or F Z7 = H, Cl or F Z8 = nitro p = 0 or 1 R13 and R14 = H or methyl, and are the same or different Z9 = OH, O-alkoxy, OM, or lower alkyl sulphonamide, in which the alkoxy groups pref. have 1-6 C atoms and M = alkali or alkaline earth atom.
