The system is comprised of three or more infrasonic generators, an equivalent number of chemical lasers, generally argon gas, and pulse Doppler radars. The radars locate targets such as an aircraft, helicopter, tank, submarine periscope, missile, etc. The infrasonic generators are aligned with the lasers so that their rays coincide on the target. The infrasonic rays are emitted at a frequency of 7 cycles per second and, in conjunction with the incendiary laser rays, destroy the target within 4 or 5 seconds. The range is from tens of metres to tens of kilometres. The system is mounted on three or more mobile turrets and is powered by a diesel generator or, under battlefield conditions, by batteries.
