PURPOSE:To analyze a block sample having a flat plate and a plate-like sample by holding the sample with a seal material between a discharge cell and an analysis face and the pressing force applied from the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:A sample 3 is held by an electrically insulating seal material 13 between a discharge cell 2 and an analysis face and the pressing force by the spring 12 of a sample holder 1 or the like applied from the opposite side to this face. When such a state is generated, the face if the discharge cell 2 and the face of the sample 3 to be analyzed are kept parallel, airtightness between both of them is maintained by the seal material 13, a block sample having one plane or a plate-shaped sample can be analyzed, in addition an analysis in the depth direction from the plane can be performed. |
