PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of the purge gas flowing to a pressurized container from a gas container by providing the circulating system of the purge gas which allows a hydrogen absorbing alloy to absorb only the hydrogen component of the purge gas and returns it into the pressurized container with a blast. CONSTITUTION:The purge gas is fed to a pressurized container 3 from a gas container 1 via a pressure reducing valve 2, the pressure reducing valve 2 and valves V1, V2, V3, V5 are closed when the preset pressure is attained, a fan 8 is excited, the purge gas flows through the passage of the pressurized container 3, valves V4 and V6, a hydrogen absorbing alloy 7a and the fan 8. When the performance of the hydrogen absorbing alloy 7a starts to be reduced, the valves V1 and V3 are opened, the valves V4 and V6 are closed, the purge gas is fed to a hydrogen absorbing alloy 7b. The pressure reducing valve 2 is opened or closed according to the purge gas pressure in the pressurized container 3 to adjust the purge gas pressure, the inflow quantity of the purge gas to the pressurized container 3 during operation is small, the pressure control in the pressurized container 3 is facilitated. |
