PURPOSE: To remove sebaceous follicle and foreign matters from the surface of skin by applying a coated film or coating of a liquid polymerizable adhesive to skin, polymerizing the adhesive and peeling the coated film or coating. CONSTITUTION: A liquid polymerizable adhesive (preferablyα-methyl- cyanoacrylate) is applied to skin by brushing or coating, the adhesive is polymerized, the polymerized adhesive is peeled off from skin to remove sebaceous follicle and foreign matters (e.g. bacteria, fungoid lump, follicular corniculate enation or acarid). The adhesive is readily permeated into follicles and foreign matters can be efficiently removed by using the cyanoacrylate-based adhesive. Before the liquid adhesive is completely polymerized, a second adhesive- containing flexible backing material and a tape are brought into contact with the layer of the adhesive and after the adhesive is completely polymerized, the backing material is pulled up to readily release the layer from skin.
