<p>PURPOSE:To improve a multi-searching function by displaying a searching position on a picture so that the searching position can be easy to understand when a searching is executed in a backward direction under a state in which plural reduced pictures are displayed on the picture by a multi-searching. CONSTITUTION:Whenever a program searching signal is detected at a program searching signal detecting part 10, a reduced picture signal equivalent to one field of an input video signal is stored in a picture memory 16. At the time of a high-speed searching, the contents of the memory 16 are read through a digital data processing circuit 15, the reduced pictures, which are obtained by reducing the first pictures of passing programs, are made to appear on the picture of an image receiving device one after another through a digital-analog converter 17, a terminal (a) of a switch 18, and an output terminal 19, and the plural reduced pictures are displayed on the picture simultaneously. At the time of a backward searching mode, since a switch 13 is changed over from an open state to a terminal (b) side whenever the program searching signal is detected, a signal from a single color generator 20 is introduced into an analog-digital converter 14, and the signal of the memory 16 is successively rewritten to a signal for displaying a single color, a user can judge a program currently under a backward searching by a picture next to the reduced picture drawn again in the single color.</p> |
