<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility generating the peeling-off of a flex and to stabilize the mounting of a connection cap to a flexible tube, by fixing the flex and the end part of a blade together and covering the outer periphery of the fixed part with the connection cap to fix both of them. CONSTITUTION:In a method for mounting the connection cap connected to the curved pipe part and/or operation part main body of an endoscope to the end part of a flexible tube formed by laminating a flex, a blade and an outer skin, the flex 7 and the leading end part 10 of the blade 8 are mutually fixed by solder 18 and, for example, the fixed part is fitted in the large diameter rear end part of the connection cap 12 composed of a two-stepped cylinder having different diameters engaged with and fixed to the rear end part of a curved rear end roll 11 and an adhesive 14 is injected in the injection hole 13 of the connection cap 12 to fix the leading end part of the blade 8 to the connection cap 12. Subsequently, the rear end part of the outer skin 15 of a curved pipe part 5 covering the curved rear end roll 11 and the connection cap 12 is abutted to the leading end part of the outer skin 9 of the flexible tube 4 and the outer peripheries thereof are tightly tied by yarn 16 and fixed to the outer periphery of the leading end part of the blade 8 by an adhesive.</p> |
