PURPOSE:To obtain a germicidal composition, containing a specific thioureido based compound and Prumycin(R) as active ingredients and capable of exhibiting high controlling effects especially by foliar spraying and effective even against chemical-resistant germs and producing high synergistic effects. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) 1,2-bis(3-methoxycarbonyl-2- thioureido)benzene capable of exhibiting controlling effects on various pathogenic germs parasitic on agricultural and horticultural crops but especially resulting in appearance of chemical-resistant germs recognized in various disease injuries including especially gray mold by successive application and (B) Prumycin(R); 4-N-D-alanyl-2,4-diamino-2,4-dideoxyarabinose which is known to be effective against disease injuries of various agricultural and horticultural crops but has not been put into practical use at 40:1-1:2, preferably 16:1-1:1 weight ratio. The amount of the applied composition is preferably 15-300g amount of the active ingredients based on 10 ares. |
