The disposal package (20) for dispensing syrup at a regular flow rate includes a flow rate control tube (30) with a first open end (30B) vented to the atmosphere through the container bottom (22B). A second open end (30A) of the tube is disposed at a selected distance above a discharge opening (28) of the container (22). The second open end of the container is retained in a socket (34) laterally offset from the discharge opening. The container may thus be filled with syrup through the discharge opening without interference from the second open end of the tube.
