MOBILE TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain the effective utilization of a frequency with less number of digit of a terminal identification number by converting a terminal identification number to be sent and received into a number identifying only a terminal equipment during transmission from the number able to identify all terminal equipments. CONSTITUTION:A mobile communication exchange 2 selects a terminal identification number not in use from a mobile terminal identification number management section 4 upon the request of the terminal equipment 1 when the mobile terminal station 1 starts communication and the terminal identification number confirming number added with the said number is sent to the terminal equipment 1. The terminal equipment 1 uses a mobile terminal identification number storage section 5 to recognize it as its own signal when its own terminal number and the terminal number added to the confirming number are coincident among all signals sent. The terminal identification number is added to the control signal required for the succeeding communication to apply transmission. Thus, the capacity of the terminal identification number is reduced, the signal length is decreased to attain effective use of the frequency.
