The method produces a decorative slab, using profiled bodies (3) mounted on the bottom of a mould (1). A layer of coloured concrete which forms the visible slab surface is used to cover the bodies, and on it a supporting layer (4) of reinforced concrete is in turn formed. The bodies used are of metal, rubber or plastics. They can be oblong and in the form of individual components, and can have surfaces profiled to the form of individual components, and can have surfaces profiled to the desired pattern. USE/ADVANTAGE - During mfr. decorative concrete slab for building is easily knocked out free of the bodies used to mould decorative patterns.
