The bottom 2 of the hay wagon is prolonged into a wagon bottom proper. The front board 3 is hinged at the top to a girder 6 at hinges 7 and at the bottom it is connected by hinges 9 to a frame bottom 8, which can slide on the wagon bottom 2. The front board can turn about the hinges 7 by means of a hydraulic cylinder 10, 11, 12 and 13. As shown, the front board and frame piece can be turned in this way from the normal filling position, where the frame bottom 8 lies against the wagon bottom 2, into an empty position, where front board and frame bottom lie in an extension of each other and together form a diagonal plane in the body of the wagon. <IMAGE>
