The invention concerns a gate frame for fixing oneself which can be adapted to size without special tools. This gate frame comprises four main parts: the part which acts as support and as pivot 1, the two crosspieces 2 which are fixed to the part 1 and which can be cut to size, and the part supporting the lock or the bolt 3, which is fixed on the end of the crosspieces and gives total rigidity to the assembly. A reinforcing crosspiece is necessary for the large models 4. Among the most advantageous applications of the invention can be mentioned the creation of the main support for a standard or non-standard gate to be fixed oneself. <IMAGE>
