PURPOSE:To reduce frothing effect and to improve storage stability of an emulsifying dispersant for aq. emulsion by prepg. the dispersant from a copolymer of a hydrophobic monomer selected from a specified group with a hydrophilic monomer selected from a specified group. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer of a hydrophobic monomer A selected from a group consisting of aromatic olefins, aliphatic olefins, alicyclic olefins and alkyl (meth)acrylates, with a hydrophilic monomer B selected from a group consisting of maleic and/or fumaric acid type monomers, amino group-contg. monomers, OH group contg.-monomers, polyoxyethylene group contg.-monomers, sulfo group contg.-monomers, and salts of the afore-mentioned monomers, is used as emulsifying dispersant for producing an aq. emulsion of rosin or a rosin derive. |
