PURPOSE:To easily and surely produce a photosensitive body provided with a photosensitive layer on the circumferential surface of a cylindrical conductive base body and the conductive base body exposed part on the edge parts of the circumferential surface by using a mask method for the above-mentioned conductive base body. CONSTITUTION:The edge parts of the circumferential surface of the cylindrical conductive base body 4B are masked by strippable nylon films 6 and a photosensitive material is adhered over the entire circumferential surface of the conductive base body contg. the nylon films 6. The nylon films 6 are then stripped to form the photosensitive body 4 having the photosensitive layer 4A and the conductive base body exposed parts 4BX in the circumferential edge parts. The photosensitive material is, therefore, deposited over the entire circumferential surface of the conductive base body while the strippable nylon is maintained in the stable state; in addition, the photosensitive film on the nylon films 6 is removed together with the nylon films 6. The photosensitive body 4 having the photosensitive layer 4A and the conductive base body exposed parts 4BX in the edge parts of the circumferential surface is thereby obtd. |
