The insulating clothing comprises at least one part constituting a covering garment 15 made of a flexible laminated material. The flexible laminated material comprises an outer skin 32 which is sealed against gases and resistant to chemical corrosion, the inner skin 33, which is also sealed, and an intermediate layer 34 holding a spacing between the outer and inner skins 32, 33, in order to constitute a volume which is insulated both from the outside environment and the internal volume of the cover 15.
