Powder-delivering device, especially for covering or coating various products, including, arranged along the horizontal axis of a rotary vessel 2 containing a mass (volume), placed loosely, of elements to be covered, a substantially axial and elongate dispenser 5 having, on its lower part, perforations or a longitudinal slit 7, optionally with adjustable opening, and preferably an axial helical screw 6 extending into the dispenser in order to distribute, along the length of the latter, the powder delivered through the slit. According to the invention, the device is characterised in that it includes, arranged beneath the slit of the dispenser, a barrel 65 for volumetric dispensing of the powder, mounted so as to rotate inside a fixed cage 23 and defining successive open cells 68 which receive the powder coming from the dispenser, the cage being open beneath the barrel in the direction of the bottom of the vessel in such a way that the defined-amplitude rotation of this barrel causes a given quantity of powder, corresponding to that represented by the masses (volumes) contained in a chosen number of cells of the barrel, to be emptied into the vessel. <IMAGE> |
