The subassembly possesses a nozzle body (11) with a yarn channel (13) open towards a surface (12) and with a blowing channel (14) opening into the yarn channel. A baffle block (15) is pressed against the surface (12) of the nozzle body (11), in order to close the yarn channel (13) laterally. The nozzle body (11) is fastened releasably to a supporting block (18) of a frame (17, 18). The baffle block (15) is held on a lever (22, 22a) which is mounted pivotably on a baseplate (17) of the frame (17, 18). The lever (22, 22a) is spring-loaded relative to the baseplate (17), in order to press the baffle block (15) against the nozzle body (11). As a result of the pivoting of the lever (22, 22a) counter to its spring load (26), the baffle block (15) can be lifted off from the nozzle body (11) for the insertion of a yarn into the yarn channel (13).
