PURPOSE:To realize safe and efficient ship operation by automating integrated operation by controlling the information of the respective parts of navigation, cargo work and an engine organically and unitarily while using the information related to weather and marine weather from a communication satellite. CONSTITUTION:In an on-board weather routing device 5, a safe sea route and a course to avoid a dangerous sea area are planned based on weather and sea condition information and ship position information, and besides, the engine speed of a main engine is planned so as to arrive at a destination on a designated data and time along the designated route based on the weather and sea condition information and measured displacement information. Then, steering is controlled by an autopilot 7 according to set course instruction, and simultaneously, navigation speed is controlled by a main engine remote control device 9 according to main engine speed instruction, and thus, automatic operation is performed. Further, in a cargo work supervising device 8, the planning and the execution of optimum draft and trim are performed based on the weather and marine weather information and fuel consumption information. Thus, safe and economical optimum operation comes possible. |
